Meet the Team
I am responsible for the day to day running of L&G Mortgage Club, including managing our great team, working with our lender partners, key intermediary firms and dealing with our external media and events profile.
My role is to ensure that we deliver the best possible proposition for everyone who uses Mortgage Club, whilst ensuring the quantity and quality of business that our lenders need.
As New Build Manager for the Legal & General Mortgage Club, I am responsible for the delivery and ongoing development of the new build proposition and relationship management of our specialist broker firms, builder and lender partners - with the aim of delivering of a more sustainable new build mortgage market (including Affordable Housing). In addition, I look after key account relationships in my geographical region: Scotland, South Wales and South West.
My role is to manage the lender relationships within the L&G Mortgage Club, working together to drive activity around products and distribution which ultimately results in growth in quality and lending volumes.
I manage numerous Key Account relationships within the Mortgage club in the North East & North West, whilst seeking to develop new relationships. A primary aim of my role is to ensure that the L&G Mortgage Club offering and its benefits are fully promoted to the adviser community, so that we continue to add value to our member firms. I also work very closely with other areas of the business to maximise our potential.
As Mortgage Club Technology Manager, I am responsible for analysis and feasibility of existing (and future) technology applications, business proposals and projects. Working closely with mortgage sourcing and point of sale providers to ensure technology is well represented and provide technology assistance for accounts, with their integration and development needs.
I manage numerous Key Account relationships which include a mixture of large IFAs and mortgage broker firms in London, South East, Midlands and North Wales. I ensure our Mortgage Club offering is tailored to their strategic focus, adding value to increase both mortgage and protection business volumes. In addition, I am responsible for the Mortgage Club’s propositions for Buy to Let, Equity Release and a Mortgage Advice Service.
My role is to ensure Mortgage Club is provided with the management information and support in order to drive business from our Mortgage Club members.
I am responsible for the Mortgage Club email distribution lists and daily communications, along with ensuring our website is clear and adding value.
My role as a Mortgage Lending Analyst is varied but the prime duties are to ensure, by research and analytical data gathering, that the panel of lenders we promote to our brokers are representative of whole of market as defined by the regulator.
Part of my role is to work closely with lenders on the panel to look at trends within the Club and to help shape innovation and exclusive products for the Mortgage Club members. By building and maintaining relationships with both lenders and brokers the Club has been able to launch new lenders and exciting new exclusive products on to the panel which are available exclusively to the members.
I am the Manager of Mortgage Support Services Team. On a daily basis my team and I work to support our advisers in all aspects of the Legal & General Mortgage Club including placing difficult or unusual cases. My role also includes meeting with lenders making sure that we are up to date with any criteria changes and also that we are fully aware of their products and services.
