Benefits management
Our Benefits Management team is responsible for managing benefit applications for all our Group Life Assurance and Dependants' Pension, Group Income protection and Group Critical Illness Cover products. Group Life Assurance and Dependants' Pension and Group Critical Illness Cover benefits are paid within a couple of days of us receiving all the necessary documentation we need. To qualify for Group Income Protection benefit, employees must meet a specified definition of a disabled member as stated in our policy.
Unlike some other insurers Legal & General doesn’t have in house rehabilitation facilities. Our approach is to use a number of specialist providers who are independent and experts in their field, to make sure the correct treatment is provided in each individual case.
