We published an update of the PPFM, replacing the 29 June 2007 document.

The board of directors reported to policyholders on compliance with PPFM for 2006.

We published an update of the PPFM, replacing the 29 June 2005 document.

We also revised our 2006 Bonus factsheet (incorporating PPFM Data Annex), replacing the document first published on 17 April 2007. The section entitled "The assets and liabilities of the With-Profits Sub-Fund" has now been updated to include information as at the end of 2006.

17 April 2007

On 17 April 2007 we published an update of the PPFM Data Annex, replacing the 20 June 2006 document. The Data Annex then ceased to be a stand-alone document and was included within an overall document entitled "2006 bonus factsheet (incorporating PPFM Data Annex)".

The board of directors reported to policyholders on compliance with PPFM for 2005.

On 20 June 2006 we published an update of the PPFM Data Annex, replacing the 29 June 2005 document.

2005

November 2005

We published a consumer friendly version of our PPFM, which covers the main points of the PPFM. It is called “Introduction to With-Profits”.

We also published a document that sets out the changes we made to the Principles and Practices in June 2005.

On 29 June 2005 we published an update of our PPFM, replacing the 30 April 2004 PPFM document.

We also published a separate document of facts and figures called the PPFM Data Annex.

The board of directors reported to policyholders on compliance with PPFM for 2004.

In 2003 our regulator, the FSA, published rules for the governance of with-profits business. These included the requirement to publish Principles and Practices of Financial Management (PPFM).

We published the first version of our PPFM on 30 April 2004.
