Accidental Death Benefit

Occasionally due to your personal circumstances we may not be able to provide cover straight away. So while your application is processed, subject to certain conditions, we will provide you with free accidental death benefit for 90 days or until your application is completed, whichever happens first.

Guaranteed Insurability Option

We allow you to increase your cover without having to provide further medical evidence later on, subject to certain conditions. You can do this for:

- Birth or adoption of a child.

- Marriage or entering into a registered civil partnership.

- Increasing your mortgage due to moving house or undertaking major home improvements.

- Your salary increases as a result of a new job or promotion.

Terminal Illness Cover

This is included in our life assurance policies at no extra cost. If you are diagnosed with a terminal illness, have less than 12 months to live and are eligible to claim, we will pay out your full benefit. Terminal illness cover is included in our plans with a term of two years or more but is not available in the last 18 months of cover.

SmoothMove

SmoothMove is a 24 hour rescue service provided when moving house. It's available at no extra cost to all customers, who take out one of the applicable mortgage related protection policies. The cover provides emergency assistance both on the day of the house move and up to three months after you've settled into your new home. SmoothMove is provided by Inter Partner Assistance, one of the largest international emergency assistance groups.
