Application Process – A polished service from start to finish
We are committed to providing a first-class service and therefore our High Net Worth Protection Team is on hand to help you through the application process, all the way from submission to completion.
Pre Submission
Contact our High Net Worth Underwriters to discuss the application prior to submission
Underwriting requirements
We will explain our medical and financial underwriting requirements up-front and provide an initial assessment on hazardous pursuits and occupations
Additional information
We will also highlight areas where a detailed explanation or additional evidence will be required
Unique case number
This information is captured on our systems to ensure complete consistency once the application is received and you will be given a unique case number for future reference
Completing the application and collate the supporting documentation
By sending all the information to us up-front (including financial evidence), we can process the application much more quickly.

Remind the client about non-disclosure
Please ask your client to check the application thoroughly, including their medical history, to ensure their information is correct and they have not missed anything out
Submission
Submit the application to our High Net Worth ProtectionTeam
Submission
Send the application plus all relevant documentation to your dedicated High Net Worth Team. Please include your Agency number on all applications. If you submit online, please ensure any paper documentation has your PA number on it
Explain to your client what happens next
Give your client a copy of our special leaflet for High Net Worth clients (W11576), which explains the final steps in their application. You can order this leaflet in the usual way
Welcome call
Advise them that they will receive a welcome call from the Harley Street Doctors Group to arrange a medical appointment if required
We understand how important it is to arrange your client’s cover as quickly and simply as possible – so we aim to progress every application through to an underwriting decision within 30 days of receipt. To succeed, we will need your help to ensure that the client understands the importance of full disclosure, attending the medical appointments and providing all the relevant information as quickly as possible.

Processing
We assess and load the application and check all documentation to ensure no information is missing
Evidence is issued
We will contact you to acknowledge receipt of the application and to confirm all medical and financial evidence required. A copy of these requirements will be sent to you and your clientDedicated point of contact
We will also confirm who your dedicated point of contact will be and agree with you how often you would like to receive updates and your preferred method of contactYour client is contacted by the Harley Street Doctors Group to arrange for tests
Harley Street Doctors Group will contact your client to arrange the examination(s) and confirm when and where they will occur. They will also answer any queries your client may have about their appointment
Follow up call
Your client will be contacted again closer to the date of their examination to confirm the arrangements for the day and to answer any queries they may have
Active management and regular updates
During this process we will be actively managing the application on your behalf and will provide you with regular updates
Decision Stage
The High Net Worth team received the test results
Risk assessment
Once all medical and financial evidence has been received, we will assess the information and determine whether the risk will be accepted, or whether further evidence is requiredWe contact you with our decision
Once a decision has been made, we will contact you for confirmation of a start date. The relevant policy documents will then be sent out to your client and, if requested, a copy will be sent to you too
