Family History
Introduction
A family history of disease or death at a premature age may be an adverse risk factor
Family history is taken into account for all types of cover assessed, and is particularly relevant to Critical Illness Cover (CIC)
People who inherit a known cancer gene will not definitely get cancer; they do however have an increased risk of developing
cancer when compared to the wider population
