Buildings insurance

Our buildings insurance covers your home against all the major risks such as fire, storm, flood and subsidence. It also covers other causes of damage, like damage caused by a burglary, vandalism or a vehicle collision.

Buildings insurance covers not only the main building and its outbuildings, but also things such as walls, paths, pipes and fixtures such as the bathroom suite and fitted kitchens.

This policy provides cover up to a limit of £500,000 to repair or rebuild the property in the event of a claim. If this limit is not suitable, or if you have over five bedrooms, please call us for a quote on 0800 027 7161. Lines are open 8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturday. We may record and monitor calls.

Contents insurance

Contents insurance includes most things that you would usually take with you if you move home, such as furniture, furnishings and personal belongings. You should insure your contents for what it would cost to replace them with new items, not their second hand value.

If you're not sure how much to insure all your possessions for, you can use our handy interactive contents calculator.

Our quote will be based on a sum insured limit of £40,000. However, if this is not enough to replace all your contents, you can select up to £60,000. Please call us for a quote on 0800 027 7161 if the limits are not suitable or if you have over five bedrooms. We may record and monitor calls.
