Although it is easier to handle your claim if you have your policy number please do not worry if you cannot find it, we will still be able to help in emergency situations.
Our staff will be able to help arrange for one of our loss adjusters to get in touch to assess any damage caused and any necessary support required. To be best prepared against the effect of further severe weather we would recommend that homeowners:
- Listen to local radio and the Environment Agency Flood line; 0845 988 1188 for up-to-date information.
- Keep important contact details, such as insurance documents, in a waterproof plastic bag.
- If safe and practical to do so, move your contents to higher floors.
- Be prepared to turn off the gas, electricity, and water at the mains.
