Exclusions

There are some general exclusions you should know about.

For example, certain sports and activities, or claims arising from excessive alcohol intake. The full list of exclusions is printed in the Travel Insurance policy document and should be read before you buy.

Please can you bear in mind:

  • If you fail to pay your premium you'll no longer be covered.
  • You must give us accurate information when you apply for your policy or you could invalidate it.
  • You’ll have to pay the first £35 (the excess) of certain claims.
  • You must live in Great Britain, the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands. You must be in a good state of health and fit to travel at the start of each trip.
  • We're unable to offer cover for pre existing medical conditions unless they have been declared and accepted by the insurer.

We recommend that you take your policy document with you on holiday so you can check it if necessary. It contains emergency contact numbers and other guidance. You'll also find these numbers in 'How to claim' on the right hand menu.

Before you decide to buy this travel insurance, you must read the policy summary (PDF 61KB) and the Travel Insurance policy (PDF 182KB) document, detailing cover, terms, exceptions and conditions.
