Additional benefits.

We’ve developed a number of additional benefits which give you even more protection and offer you extra peace of mind. Some of these are included as standard and some are at an extra cost. Please see the list below for more details.

Additional benefits included at no extra cost:

Accidental Death Benefit	We give you free Accidental Death Benefit while we process your application, giving you some peace of mind that you’re covered in case of accidental death.
Terminal Illness Cover	This benefit means that your policy could pay out a lump sum upon diagnosis of a terminal illness, rather than on death, providing financial support at a time when it could be needed the most.
Making changes to your policy	You can make changes to your policy, such as changing the term, the amount of cover, switching from joint to single policies or even changing your premium payments from monthly to annually. We also offer the Guaranteed Insurability option which lets you increase your cover on certain life events.

Additional benefits that can be added at an extra cost:

Waiver of Premium	This benefit pays your premiums if you’re unable to work due to illness or injury and are eligible to claim. After 26 weeks we'll continue to pay the premiums for your policy until you either return to work or reach the end of the policy.
Critical Illness Cover	It's designed to pay out a cash lump sum if you're diagnosed with one of the 41 conditions that we cover, which can be used however you decide. It can cover any additional medical costs or necessary adjustments to your home, or even help to pay off your mortgage.
