Application process.

When you buy any of our Over 50s Life Insurance plans you should ensure that you read all the information including the Policy Summary PDF to help make sure the plan meets your needs. If there is anything you don't understand please contact us before you buy. 

If you have any difficulty in opening, printing or storing the policy summary on your computer, please contact us before submitting an application so that we can go through the application process with you over the telephone.

Please be aware of the following points before you proceed to the application:

The information we have provided does not contain advice regarding whether the Over 50s Life Insurance Plans are suitable for you. The decision to take out the plan is yours and therefore it's very important that you:

  • Read the Policy Summary PDF for details of what is and isn't covered by the plan.
  • Make sure the plan meets your needs.
  • Keep a record of the policy summary and check it from time to time to make sure that the plan is still suitable for you.

When you complete an application online, you'll be automatically accepted. We'll send you the Policy Schedule and Policy Terms and Conditions shortly after. You'll receive the cancellation notice within 7 to 10 working days. The cancellation notice gives you 30 days to change your mind about starting your plan. If you cancel within 30 days, any premiums you may have paid will be refunded.
