Throughout the year, we sponsor and exhibit at many major industry events. The events we get involved in include conferences and exhibitions, along with the sponsorship of various industry award ceremonies.

 

MORTGAGE CLUB AWARDS 2012
The 2012 Mortgage Club awards will take place on Friday 15 June at the majestic Guildhall in London. The Mortgae Club Awards aim to recognise the outstanding success and performance of our lenders and Club members during the last 12 months, with the results based on our annual Mortgage Club Survey.  And, for yet another year, we've had a record number of surveys completed.

Stephen Smith said “The Legal & General Mortgage Club awards lunch is a well-established fixture in the industry calendar. With both lenders and advisers in attendance, this demonstrates the weight of the three-way relationship that exists through our Mortgage Club.”

BRITISH MORTGAGE AWARDS 2012

The seventh British Mortgage Awards are taking place on Tuesday 3 July at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London. It's a key event in the industry calendar to recognise individual excellence.Legal & General are sponsoring the Broker – First Time Buyer award and will be hosting two tables at the event and we're hoping to make it four in a row for Ben Thompson winner of the Business Leader of the year award in the Mortgage Club category. Nominate your favourite Legal & General business leaders for an award by visiting the British Mortgage Awards website. Voting is open until 18 May 2012.

A WINNING NIGHT FOR LEGAL & GENERAL!
The Mortgage Strategy Awards 2012 were held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane. In their 11th year, these awards have become recognised as the industry ‘Oscars’ and we’re delighted to have won the following awards:

• Best Mortgage Distributor – Mortgage Club
• Best General Insurance (GI) Provider

We were also pleased to be runners up for;

• Best Network, and
• Best Mortgage Protection Provider
  

This event presents a great opportunity to recognise the best in the mortgage industry and reward the brokers, lenders and distributors who are finding innovative ways to beat the current economic challenges.
