31/03/2017 Jeremy Duncombe, Director, Legal & General Mortgage Club

Following the success of last year’s Mortgage Club LIVE events, Legal & General Mortgage Club is delighted to announce the launch of its sixth series of roadshow events. We will be traveling across the country visiting Leeds, Surrey, Milton Keynes, Birmingham and Reading bringing together industry professionals.

As usual, this year’s Spring Event Roadshows will be hosted by Jeremy Duncombe, Director at Legal & General Mortgage Club. Jeremy will be joined by guest speakers including Craig Hall, New Build Manager at Legal & General Mortgage Club, Maria Harris, Director of Retail Mortgages at Atom Bank and Robert Sinclair, Chief Executive of the Association of the Mortgage Intermediaries.

This year’s theme for discussion across all the roadshows is ‘The Digital Future of the Market.’ Experts will be discussing key topics in the mortgage industry, including robo-advice and electronic mortgage applications, presenting a great opportunity for brokers and lenders to come together, share knowledge and learn more about the latest trends in the market.

The digitisation of the mortgage industry has been a prominent topic of discussion for advisers and lenders alike. However, whilst there has been concern about the role of robo-advice, it is essential that we embrace this technology as a means of strengthening the market. Not only can technology help make mortgage applications faster for advisers, but it can also allow brokers to focus on what really matters, speaking to clients, by removing much of the daily administrative duties involved in casework.

Events like our Spring Roadshow are an important forum for bringing together industry experts and commentators in the field in a collaborative effort to learn and develop from one another.
