Santander are finding, on occasion, that brokers are not linking his/ her retention case to a Mortgage Club. The Santander procuration fee team look daily at cases where a retention KFI was generated the day before and where no procuration fee payment was made on it. This is because brokers have not selected a Mortgage Club payment route. (Brokers will be advised and asked to resubmit the business. This creates more work for you.)
Santander are reviewing their wording to make it very clear that a route needs to be selected, but really it is no different from what you do on new business cases (generally without fail).
Please note to get paid on a product transfer, you must select L&G Mortgage Club payment route.
