Process and Documentation Requirements Changes from Leek United

Leek United Building Society have introduced changes to their processing and documentation requirements for both residential and buy to let mortgage applications. 

Leek United’s Operations Director, John Kelly said ‘We want to make it easier for our Intermediaries to provide their clients with our mortgages by reducing the time taken from receipt of the application to offer.  To enable us to achieve this we are introducing a number of new processes including, case ownership, instruction of the valuation on assessment and the requirement for minimum supporting documentation to accompany all applications.’

The minimum supporting documentation required for each application type is available on Leek United’s website.  Intermediaries will receive notification when applications are submitted without the relevant documents, and once these have been received the application will then be passed to their processing team to assess and instruct the valuation.
