Fixed Protection reminder
From 6 April 2012, the Lifetime Allowance, which is currently £1.8m, will reduce to £1.5m. The 5 April deadline to register for Fixed Protection, and retain a Lifetime Allowance of £1.8m, is fast approaching.

Protected Rights Changes
From 6 April 2012, it will be possible for your clients to transfer their Protected Rights benefits that they’ve accrued from periods of contracting out, into a SSAS.

REMINDER ABOUT VAT CHANGES
Since April 2010, it’s been compulsory for all entities with a turnover of more than £100,000 to file returns online and make payment electronically. We now operate on this basis for the large majority of our Schemes.

If your clients still receive paper returns from the VAT office, please contact us to discuss how their Scheme can comply with the new regulations from 1 April.
