Members are given support and where appropriate, rehabilitation to help them back to work.

Benefit Changes

The annual renewal date of the policy or within two months of an agreed lifestyle event, for example:

  • Marriage or registered civil partnership of the employee.
  • The birth of the employee’s child.
  • Adoption of a child by the employee.
  • Death of one of the employee’s dependants.
  • The employee’s divorce or dissolution of registered civil partnership.

Benefits can be flexed up one step at a time with no limitations on flexing down to core level.

All benefit changes are subject to being actively at work.

Voluntary benefit option

Minimum 2,500 lives (500 if linked to ‘core’ benefit product or 100 actual members) or a minimum scheme premium of £2,000 per month.

Joining

We’ll need a list of employees who wish to join the plan. After this date, they may join at the annual renewal date of the policy. A simple health declaration will be required on entry to the plan and for each increase in cover.

Joining

Employees can join within three months of first becoming eligible. After this date, they may join at the annual renewal date of the policy. Within set limits, benefits can also be changed at this date.

You need know

All benefit changes are normally subject to being actively at work. We’ll continue to provide cover and pay any valid claims as long as premiums are paid and the terms are met. Policy terms will be unique to each business and there are some circumstances where we won’t provide cover. We’ll give you the terms with our quote and you should read this together with our technical guide.
