We’ll keep you fully informed about an individuals rehab programme through regular progress reports. Whilst rehabilitation is underway, we’ll work with the employer and their occupational health provider in any return to work programmes that our specialist providers may recommend.
| Step 1 Once we receive an absence notification form an independent specialist will contact the employer to discuss the absent member’s situation. |
| Step 2 The independent specialist will then contact the member for an initial assessment and to complete a member’s statement form. We may ask for more medical evidence to help with the ongoing management of the absence. |
| Step 3 Based on the independent specialist report, the member may be recommended appropriate support, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) or functional capacity evaluation (FEA). |
| Work Reintegration Once therapy has started, the independent specialists will keep all parties informed and put in place the return to work programme. |
