Workplace Recovery is more than just a Group Income Protection benefit, it’s a complete absence solution for employers to help bring about the quickest return to work, including access to rehabilitation specialists and workplace integration programmes.

Normally, a minimum of 50 members is needed to first set up the policy.

Cover for employeesUp to £350,000 per year or 80% of a member’s scheme earnings, whichever is less. We'll pay this benefit until they recover and can return to work or they no longer qualify or meet our definition of incapacity.
Switching to usSwitching from another insurer to us is quick and easy. We’ll normally provide cover on the same basis for existing members, which means we can match the previous insurer’s benefit level and terms. The cost may not necessarily be the same and can go up.
Medical underwritingWe’ve streamlined our medical underwriting approach and can offer our premier Onederwriting service, including access to tele interviews and nurse visits.
Free limitWe can offer a free limit of up to £120,000 scheme earnings.
Centre of excellenceWe offer independent specialist help for cancer, stress and musculoskeletal conditions. Where appropriate, we’ll pay for treatment to help members back to work and we'll also develop an integrated return to work programme.
5% Cash backOur early notification bonus can return 5% of your policy premium for schemes with over 250 members. Terms and conditions apply.
Employee Assistance ProgrammeWe’re the only provider to provide a free Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) as standard for all our Group Life scheme members. This includes bereavement counselling, financial and legal support. Promotional literature is available.

You need to know

We’ll continue to provide cover and pay any valid claims as long as premiums are paid and the terms are met. Policy terms will be unique to each business and there are some circumstances where we won’t provide cover. We’ll give you the terms with our quote and you should read this together with our technical guide.
