20 April 2017
We are delighted to announce new improved pension scheme microsites designed to encourage your employees to engage more with their retirement planning.
Most schemes will have the new site from 24 April and the table below shows the implementation strategy in full.
The new site structure is based on the four key stages of scheme membership:
The site incorporates short explanatory videos for each of the four stages and simplified online tools to help members plan for the level of income they’re hoping for in retirement.
The comprehensive structure and content deliver better support to the member through their journey to retirement and clearly highlight things to consider, and decisions they might want to make, along the way.
The timetable below indicates when we plan to replace your scheme microsite with the new version:
|Scheme type||Is YOUR site for an auto enrolment scheme?||Estimated implementation date|
|Worksave Pension Plan (where the fund names ends in ‘3’, for example the ‘Legal & General Cash Fund 3’)||Yes||24 April 2017|
|Group Stakeholder Pension Plan||Yes||19 June 2017|
|Worksave Pension Plan (where the fund names don’t end in 3, for example the ‘Legal & General Cash Fund’)||Yes||19 June 2017|
|Group Personal Pension Plan||Yes||3 July 2017|
|Worksave Pension Plan (where the fund names don’t end in 3, for example the ‘Legal & General Cash Fund’)||No||19 June 2017|
|Worksave Pension Plan (where the fund names ends in ‘3’, for example the ‘Legal & General Cash Fund 3’)||No||10 July 2017|
|Group Stakeholder Pension Plan||No||17 July 2017|
|Group Personal Pension Plan||No||24 July 2017|
You don’t need to do anything. Your new microsite will have the same address and use the same link as the current version.
If your scheme microsite has its own unique content or branding, we will be contacting you or your adviser to discuss your requirements for adopting the new style in due course.
To help you promote your new microsite to your employees, we’ve updated the Microsite poster template (DOC: 854KB) which can be downloaded or printed and distributed to your employees as part of your internal communications programme.
Please note: You can manually edit the poster to show your logo, scheme name and your specific microsite address.
