Currently, for home insurance Flood Re cases, agents have to call your New Business Servicing Team in order to have the premium manually adjusted on the policy schedule – will we still need to do this?
Appropriate rating adjustments for flood risk are built into the quote engine used by GI Connect for home insurance products. As a result the need to call into our New Business Servicing Team for flood referral cases should be significantly reduced.
Please note, the Flood Re scheme doesn’t apply to rental properties.
If GI Connect declines to quote due to flood risk, is it worth calling your New Business Servicing Team in Birmingham seeking a telephone quote?
You’ll no longer need to phone in for Home Insurance because the passing of these risks to Flood Re is now built into our quote engine.
For Landlords policies, as they won’t be eligible for Flood Re, you’ll need to call in to our New Business Servicing Team who can establish if the risk is within acceptance.
