Cost of living crisis is driving this client trend

As the cost-of-living crisis creates financial uncertainty for many, we’re seeing an increasing client trend of streamlining finances in a bid to protect from what may lay ahead. Your client could be one of them and if they are in a current fixed rate mortgage, they may be able to take out a second charge mortgage.

There are several uses for a second charge mortgage that people often don’t know about, including, but not limited to:

  • streamlining finances
  • making home improvements
  • funding a large purchase or cost, such as school fees
  • improving a business cashflow position.

Alternatively, they may have fallen foul of remortgage criteria or affordability restrictions or may have been declined a further advance. It’s always worth asking and they might really appreciate your call.
