Who we are

Connect for Intermediaries have been arranging specialist and residential mortgages since 1998. We offer both packaging and referral services to give adviser’s ultimate choice when working with Connect.

Connect is a recognised expert in the market for BTL, Commercial Mortgages, Development & Bridging Finance, Ex-Pats, Foreign Nationals and other offshore and international funding, second charges, unsecured business loans and equity release.

As our name suggests, intermediaries are at the heart of what Connect does, and we work closely with our extensive panel of over 140 lenders to find the best possible solution for you and your clients.

What we do

We will happily discuss your client’s requirements with you, to see if there is a suitable lending solution, then source lending options to give your client the best solution from our lenders. You can then choose to retain the client relationship, but with our full support via our team or refer the client to a Connect in-house broker who will take responsibility for the advice.

When you use our packaging services you will be able to see case updates via our broker portal, when you refer a client both you and the client will be able to track progress.

Procuration fee details

We typically charge a fee of £199 on full application submission, which is after we have secured a decision in principle or initial commitment to lend from the lender.

Please review our website for details of the commissions we pay to authorised advisers. Where you use us as a packager, you will be paid 100% of this sum. Where you refer a client to us, we will pay you a share of this commission plus a share of any offer or completion fee we charge the client.

For all advisers that have registered with us, we will automatically pay your commissions within 3 working days of receiving the commission from the provider.

This will register you for our online portal which will allow you to submit enquiries, upload documents and track your enquiries and applications.

You will also receive an email confirming your registration with a link to our ‘Broker Toolbox’ where you will find our full introducer agreement and some tools and information to help assist you with your cases.
