Last year we paid out over £763 million in total to support 15,855 customers and their families. Out of that, we paid over £39 million to support families who very sadly lost loved ones to Covid-19. I understand that no amount of money could ever heal the loss of a loved one, but we hope having protection in place could ease financial pressures during these very difficult times.
