How to Register

If you have a UNIPASS digital certificate and are registering with us for the first time, you will be able to link your UNIPASS during this process. You will need to have the following information to hand:

  • Your 7 digit Life Agency Number
  • Your companies 6 digit FCA/FRN Number
  • Your Individual Reference Number (IRN) if you are a Wealth adviser
  • A valid business e-mail address

Don’t have your Agency Number?

If you don’t know your agency number, you can call our Agency Enquiries Team on 0370 900 5010. They will ask you a few security questions, and e-mail the number to an e-mail account that has been listed on the FCA website. For security purposes, they cannot give this number out over the phone.

You can also e-mail the team on agency.enquiries@landg.com to request this information. Please note they will only be able to provide agency numbers to requests where the e-mail has been sent from an account listed on the FCA website.

Access Levels

During the registration process, you will be asked to select the level of access you wish to have. To view policy information, and to Quote and Apply using your agency number only, please select the Standard Access option.

If you are a member of a support team, or a principal, and wish to see your own information as well as that of your entire firm, Super User access may be more suitable for you. This level of access will also allow you to subscribe to certain information services for the entire firm too.

Finalising Access

You will be prompted to nominate an individual to approve your online access from within your firm. You will need to provide us with their name, e-mail address and contact number, and they will then be asked to approve or decline your request.

If your request is approved, our Registration Team will finalise your access, and a confirmation e-mail will be sent once complete. This e-mail will contain your login details, unless you opted to register using UNIPASS, which requires no login details.

Linking a UNIPASS Digital Certificate

If you haven’t already registered for our online services, you can link your UNIPASS certificate when you complete the online registration form. If you’ve already registered for our online services, and currently have a username and password to access our site, you can link your UNIPASS to your Registration by clicking the “Associate Now” button.

What is UNIPASS?

A UNIPASS certificate uniquely identifies you and allows access to our secure services without the need to login with your username and password each time you visit our site. It is like a digital identity card that is used widely across the Financial Services industry.

You can apply for a free UNIPASS certificate from the UNIPASS website. Once your certificate is installed, it will last for a year, and you will be sent a reminder to renew your certificate before it expires.             

What are the key things to remember?

  • Your certificate will last 12 months.
  • If you have a username and password currently, a UNIPASS will super-seed these details once linked.
  • You can only access our secure services from the PC or Laptop where your UNIPASS is installed.
  • If you your PC or laptop is stolen, or if you change your job, you’ll need to contact UNIPASS.

Managing your access

Once you have been registered, you will have access to many of our Quote and Apply and Client Servicing solutions.

Setting Security Questions & Password Resets

The first steps once you login will be to set 3 security questions on your account. Providing you don’t lock your account, you will be able to utilize our online password reset process if ever you forget your password.

One of your selected security questions will be asked, and a temporary password will be sent to the e-mail address you provided when you set your security questions providing you’ve answered that question correctly.

What other changes can I make?

It is possible to make other changes to your access, depending on your situation. Changes that are possible include:

  • Increasing access levels.
  • Providing access to different agency numbers.
  • For administrators, providing submission privileges in OLPC.
