How long does a quote take?

The process should normally take no longer than 15 minutes.

 

I cannot quote for this Scheme online – where do I send my quote?

You will need to send your quote to our Group Protection mailbox – group.protection@landg.com

You can also contact us by phone Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm on 01273 372997.

What is the standard commission rate and how is it paid?

  • 4% for group life assurance
  • 12% for group income protection

What are the options for commission?

You can select a percentage or flat rate commission at the point of quotation.

Will I also need to manually fill out a proposal form?

No, the Digital Broker Platform will normally capture all the information we need.

Will I have discounted rates?

An online discount is included within the quoted rate.

What is the eligibility criteria?

We've designed the system to work with as many schemes as possible. Please check the eligibility criteria to ensure it will work with your scheme. If your scheme doesn't meet these criteria, please contact us. We should still be able to give you a quote, we'll just need a bit more information.

How can I get hold of the quote documentation?

All documentation is available online in PDF format for you to print and download easily.

What is the minimum and largest policy sizes that you accept on Digital Broker Platform?

You can use Digital Broker Platform to get quotes for group life assurance and group income protection policies for schemes insuring 10-250 employees.

Who can I contact if I encounter problems?

What will the free limit be on my quote?

The system automatically sets a free limit, we will not know what this will be until you produce the quotation.

The system has given me an error message and has no reason why?

This will need to be reported by calling our registrations team on 0370 050 0274. We may record and monitor calls. Call charges will vary.

I am unable to login to Digital Broker Platform?

 

You will need to call our registrations team on 0370 050 0274 and press option 2 then 1 to get through to the correct team. We may record and monitor calls. Call charges will vary.

My page won’t load?

This could be to do with the settings on your internet explorer, call  our registrations team on 0370 050 0274 for advice. We may record and monitor calls. Call charges will vary.

Can I do another quote with the same data?

The system has a comparison quote option at the end of every quote, you will not need to upload the data again to do this.

Will my quote cover overseas employees?

No. Digital Broker Platform will not cover overseas employees, but it will allow cover for employees who are traveling for business. Please refer to the relevant product technical guide for more detail.

Digital Broker Platform will not allow me to add another category?

Digital Broker Platform will not give you the option to add an additional category if you have started with the category ‘All Employees’ or used all available category eligibility options. If after checking the problem persists, please call us on 01273 372 997 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

When will I have access to the platform?

As long as you are authorised to do business with Legal & General and have registered, you can use our Digital Broker Platform

When is the platform available?

The platform is available Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm, Saturday 8am to 6pm.
