Eligibility for ONIX

• The quote is for a minimum of 10 employees.
• There are up to 20 categories (groups of employees who have the same basis of cover). None of the employees are currently insured under a Group Life Assurance Benefit or Dependants' Pension policy with us.

• The quote can include registered scheme categories, Excepted Group Life Policy categories or a mixture of both. However, quotes that split cover for an employee between a registered scheme and Excepted Group Life Policy cover are not available.

  For example, ONIX can provide a single quote for an employer wishing to insure directors under an Excepted Group Life Policy, and its remaining employees under a registered scheme policy. However, if you require a quote for 4 x earnings cover split by a £500,000 threshold between registered scheme and an Excepted Group Life Policy cover is not available through ONIX. 

• As part of the policy set up, provide details of the scheme claims are to be paid through. Use a scheme the employer set up or our Mastertrust solution (456kb pdf).
• The quote and cover can only be arranged for lump sum life assurance benefit.
