*An estimated amount of gross income that the fund could pay you over the next 12 months, assuming that the investments that make up the fund stay the same.

What is the fund's aim?

Aims to provide an income each month and outperform the iBoxx Sterling Corporate Bond Index by 1.5% per annum over rolling three year periods, before the deduction of any charges.

What does it invest in?

Invests in bonds issued by a range of UK and overseas companies and governments. Bonds are loans which pay a pre-set rate of interest (either set at a fixed level or varying in a pre-determined way).

How does it invest?

Actively managed, with at least 80% in bonds with an investment grade (lower risk) credit rating, but may invest up to 20% in bonds with a sub-investment grade (higher risk) credit rating. Credit ratings give an indication of how likely it is that the issuer of a bond will be able to pay back the interest and the loan on time.
