Members can now engage with their workplace pension on the move

Encouraging members to engage with their retirement planning via our online services is a focus of our Workplace digital strategy, and with this in mind we've been working hard to increase customer engagement and provide the best online experience for members.

We're delighted to announce the launch of mobile optimisation for our online Manage Your Account facility.

Manage Your Account allows members to manage their pension online, and has been redesigned to provide a better user experience with a focus on simplicity.

Recognising increases in mobile device usage in Manage Your Account, we set about improving our online customer journey through the use of responsive design that adjusts to fit your screen whether on mobile, tablet or desktop, and a much simplified user interface.

Mobile technology gives us an opportunity to allow members to keep track of their pensions wherever they are at home or on the go.

Manage Your Account allows members to:

  • Check the value of their pension pot
  • Review transactions and contributions
  • Access online pension benefit statements in one secure place
  • Explore the range of funds available and change investments if desired

Marketing and E Commerce Director, Rosy Anand commented, "In our digital age, more and more of us are learning to trust our mobiles for shopping and banking − pensions are the next step.

Mobile technology gives us an unprecedented opportunity to engage with members on the move. Annual benefit statements and other 'life event' communications prompt members to track their savings online, using our planning tools to see if they're on track for the retirement they hope for."

Manage your account record registrations

We're also excited to report record breaking registrations for Manage Your Account.

We've seen a 260% increase in registrations since last year. A tremendous achievement, we've been working on improving our member engagement by enhancing our digital assets.

To boost our registrations, we've moved our pension benefit statements online and made improvements to our Manage Your Account video guides and employee communications to encourage member engagement.

Making Manage Your Account easier to use and accessible from both desktop and mobile devices represents a significant step forward in realising our Workplace digital vision.
