We’re one of the UK’s most active real estate managers. We invest across all sectors of the market, managing £19.8 billion* of real estate equity and £2.3 billion* of real estate debt.
Clients have repeatedly trusted us to invest their capital in real estate for almost 50 years. During that time, we’ve built a strong network of industry relationships across occupiers, agents, banks, investors and government. This gives us excellent access to deals, both on- and off-market, helping us to source and structure the best investments throughout the capital structure and via both debt and equity.
Our experience enables us to add value across the entire market cycle, based on expert teams who are able to maximise the performance of each asset, be it debt or equity. Our scale also sets us apart since it provides the depth of resource to maintain a focused brief on occupier and investment dynamics across all real estate sectors and apply this to equity and debt investments.
We understand that clients’ needs can change over time. Our proven track record of innovation includes solutions designed to meet those evolving requirements. The Slate Yard, Salford
Case study: Setting a new benchmark in the Build-to-Rent sector
For decades there has been an undersupply of homes in the UK. What’s more, the homes that have been built remain out of the reach of the average earner. Positive disruption is the driving force behind ensuring that our Build to Rent Fund actually contributes to solving the UK’s housing shortage. The Fund has ambitious plans to challenge the status quo and make a real impact on society.
The first scheme, The Slate Yard in Salford, North-West England, was designed with the resident in mind; offering a range of unit sizes and layouts, high specification interiors and onsite amenities as well as providing onsite management and maintenance delivering best-in-class professional service.
Understanding that there is no single demographic for which BtR is suitable, it follows that one size does not fit all. Our BtR Team work to create living environments that can adapt accordingly, from flexible tenancy terms enabling residents to stay as long as they wish to operational policies that allow residents to make their home their own.
Clear insight into prime investment locations, solid market reputation and robust underwriting methods combined with positive engagement with local Councils and residential communities are critical to our ability to create long-term sustainable investment value.
