Legal & General Car Insurance is arranged and administered by BISL Limited, which is an independent intermediary and is underwritten by a panel of insurers.

Limitations and exclusions

Subject to excesses shown in the schedule of insurance. An additional excess for young and inexperienced drivers may apply.

Glass Damage

  • A limit of £150 if a non approved repairer is used.
  • Damage or broken glass in panoramic glass roofs is not covered.
  • Repair or replacement of any glass that is part of a removeable or folding convertible roof is not covered.

Personal Belongings

  • Loss or damage whilst the car is left unattended without being properly locked and/or if any window, roof opening, roof panel or hood is left open or unlocked is not covered.
  • Loss of money, credit or debit cards, stamps, tickets, vouchers, documents and securities are not covered.
