What is a General Investment Account?

A General Investment Account, or GIA, is a simple way of investing more money once you’ve used up your ISA limit for the current tax year. Unlike an ISA or personal pension, there are no tax benefits when investing in a GIA but there are few other limitations. Your Legal & General GIA will be invested in an underlying unit trust.

Invest in a unit trust from £20 a month or a lump sum of £100 or more.
