Puppies like to fetch, chase and chew just about anything. They're playful, boisterous and sometimes (or rather, most of the time), quite naughty. But one look at those eyes and they'll be instantly forgiven.

We have lots of information to help you understand what your puppy needs to thrive. During the first few months, their personalities will develop and they quickly become the friend and companion you'll come to rely on.

What is Puppy Insurance?

Puppy Insurance is in fact the same policy as our Dog Insurance policy, plus you can choose your level of cover. Just make sure your puppy is at least 8 weeks old at the start of the policy and when it's old enough has been vaccinated as per your vet's recommended schedule.

Why do I need Puppy Insurance?

Your puppy will pass through several stages of development in the first year of its life, each with its own specific needs. The one constant thing is their hyperactive energy levels and trusting nature – and that means you’ll need to keep a close eye on them throughout this time.

If something unforeseen should happen, and your puppy has an accident, gets lost or develops an illness, our Puppy Insurance can give you the peace of mind that your pet is protected.

What does Puppy Insurance cover?

Our Puppy Insurance gives you a choice of cover to help protect your pet, offering up to £10,000 in veterinary fees, per year, with our most comprehensive Lifetime policy.

We know how distressing it can be if your puppy goes missing, therefore we provide cover for advertising and a reward. We also offer a Vet Finder service, Pet Funeral cover and a Bereavement Helpline to help you cope in difficult circumstances.
