*Contributions will be taken via the same method as your main plan contributions either by NICE Pensions (salary sacrifice) or the traditional payroll deduction method (net pay), if you have asked for this or if your pay does not meet the minimum requirement for NICE Pensions. There is more information on this on the Plan website, Please note that NICE Pensions is referred to as 'Simple salary sacrifice' on the salary sacrifice calculator.
If you pay contributions by NICE Pensions (salary sacrifice), you confirm that you understand that this will change the amount of your pension payment and is therefore a change to your terms and conditions of employment. You can read more about NICE Pensions on the Plan website.
If you would like to change how you contribute your AVCs from NICE Pensions to the traditional payroll deduction method, please complete the Change how I pay my contributions form.
It is your responsibility to check that by making AVCs, this doesn't take you over the annual allowance limit. Details can be found in the Pension Tax Rules factsheet.
If you have an existing AVC account, the investments related to that will apply to these future AVC’s. If you don’t have an existing AVC account, a new account will be created with the default investment option, the Lifetime Advantage Fund.
Please visit the Plan website for full details. You can choose to change where your money is invested at any time by logging into Your online account.
