We’re proud to have been awarded CMHA Accreditation
The City Mental Health Alliance has awarded Legal & General with the accreditation mark of ‘Excelling’ in its annual Thriving at Work assessment.
The CMHA’s Thriving at Work assessment helps organisations to measure their progress as they work to build mentally healthy workplaces. It is based on the evidence-based standards set out in the CMHA’s Thriving at Work Guide for organisations to work towards in developing their mental health and wellbeing strategies.
Excelling is the highest-level accreditation mark that can be awarded and means Legal & General has met over 75% of the CMHA Thriving at Work Standards.
The Thriving at Work Assessment Tool measures the following areas:
- Communication and Engagement
- Skills Development
- Working Environment
- People Management
- Leadership and Accountability
- Monitoring and Disclosure
- Interventions and Support
This assessment helps us understand where our successes are and where improvements can be made to our organisation’s mental health agenda.
Poppy Jaman, CEO of the City Mental Health Alliance says:
“Receiving the Excelling accreditation in the CMHA Thriving at Work assessment is a fantastic achievement. Companies which are ‘Excelling’ are leading the way when it comes to integrating best practice approaches, measuring outcomes, as well as being creative and demonstrating new ideas and ways of working to develop health creating environments. It recognises the brilliant work being done to create cultures that are open, positive and proactive about supporting the positive mental health of their people.”
