GIology is a new point of sale system from Legal & General that has been designed with one single-minded objective – to make life easier for all advisers who write general insurance business. Our latest technology gives you an ideal opportunity to increase your GI client base and save you time, money and effort along the way.

Our recently enhanced GI proposition consists of three mortgage-related products:

• Home Insurance Choices (HIC)
• Buy to Let Property Insurance (BTL)
• Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance (MPPI)

With the launch of GIology, you can quote on all three products, including our 5* defaqto rated MPPI product, for the first time using just one system. And because the software can be installed onto your laptop, you don’t have to be logged on to the internet to quote business. Whether you’re at home, on the road or in the office, all quotes are automatically stored ready to be submitted electronically when you’re back online.

GIology incorporates all the functionality that you would expect from a new, cutting-edge system and gives you the reassurance you would expect from Legal & General. It also includes a number of added value features:

• After just two questions you can give your client an indicative quote
• Online receipts will be issued to acknowledge any transactions made

Getting started

• In order to start writing GI business, you will need to have a Legal & General GI agency. All you need to do is send us your details via email and we will contact you shortly to discuss business terms.
• If you already have a GI agency with us and have received your GIology disc in the post – simply install it on your PC or laptop and follow the on-screen instructions.

• If for any reason you cannot load GIology by disc, please contact our Technical enquiries team on 0800 010 911. Their opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. We may record and monitor calls.
