Legal & General retains ‘eee’ rating for technology
We’ve been awarded the maximum ‘eee’ rating for technology by the Financial Technology Research Centre (FTRC). The FTRC is
a specialist consultancy advising a wide range of financial e-commerce and software companies, trade bodies and financial
institutions on the use of technology in the personal finance market.
Legal & General is one of only two providers to have achieved ‘eee’ in all four categories. The categories were ‘life protection’, ‘critical illness’, income protection’ and ‘menu’. Providers were assessed across all e-trading platforms, making the FTRC survey the most comprehensive of its type.
Bonnie Burns, Legal & General’s Protection Marketing Director said: “Technology is a key competitive advantage in today’s protection market and we continue to put significant resources into this area. We aim to make it easier for advisers to submit and manage their applications with fast turnaround and efficient underwriting. Getting their clients on risk quickly with the minimum of fuss helps advisers give a better service.
“We are the top rated company for menu capability, which is becoming increasingly important for advisers as they seek to offer their clients more comprehensive cover.”
This is now the second year in a row that we have achieved an ‘eee’ rating in all four categories.
Other awards that we have won this year include:
- Best E-commerce Provider; Best Service Provider (LifeSearch)
- Best Mortgage Protection Provider (Mortgage Strategy Awards)
- Best Life Provider (Money Marketing)
- Best Life Assurance Provider (Professional Adviser Awards)
