Protection Update - Issue 92

New presentation to help explain ABI non-disclosure changes

In January 2008, the Association of British Insurers (ABI) introduced three high level categories of non-disclosure designed to improve customer clarity and certainty around paying claims for protection polices. These changes will increase confidence and reduce the proportion of declined protection claims across the industry.

To help explain the changes, we have produced a presentation. It highlights common areas of non-disclosure, and contains case studies and advice on how you can avoid non-disclosure with your clients.

The presentation is now available on our Adviser Centre. Click here to view and download.
