Meet the investments specialists within the Legal & General Wealth Technical team.
Colin has spent over 35 years working in financial services and has been responsible for industry-leading technical advisory services throughout his career. He’s had plenty of experience with changes to regulation and product innovation, and joined Legal & General in 2003. Colin also has responsibility for L&G’s pensions technical team.
Gareth began his career in financial services in 1999, and joined us here at Legal & General in January 2001. Gareth moved onto the Investment Helpdesk in November 2004 and took over in the team manager position in October 2007. Gareth holds a BSc (Econ) from the University of Wales, Cardiff, CF1-5, J06 and the IMC.
Terry joined the Customer Contact Centre at Legal & General in 2006, utilising the customer service skills and experience gained whilst working for telephone companies and in retail sales previously. Terry joined the Investment Helpdesk in 2007; his responsibilities within the team include producing a weekly business and economic newsletter, assisting with the training of new team members and controlling the approval process for sales’ presentations for delivery to advisers.
David started at Legal & General in 2004 working on the existing business enquiry team. From there he worked as training coordinator, then as team manager in the adviser contact centre followed by running pension death claims teams. Prior to joining Legal & General, David worked for a product provider and several IFAs. David is the newest member of the team, having joined the Investment Helpdesk in May 2011.
