Huntsman was looking for a well-known provider to administer their pension scheme. We were chosen for our clear focus on Huntsman’s priorities.

Huntsman offered a number of defined benefit schemes throughout the UK and the challenge was to find a provider who would deliver a pension plan suitable for all employees.

Huntsman needed a provider who would focus its approach on meeting its employees information needs about pensions and specifically the differences between DB and DC schemes.

MAKING THE CHOICE

IMPLEMENTING THE WORKSAVE PENSION PLAN

Focussing on Huntsman’s aim of employee education and engagement, we developed communications to promote the Huntsman scheme and also the advantages of pensions. Through our programme, we:

• Delivered face to face presentations across four sites providing the flexibility to cater for shift workers.
• Created a calculator tailored to Huntsman’s contribution process.
• Tailored a DB to DC scheme learning module to enhance employee understanding of the transition.
• Developed a dedicated helpline for Huntsman employees to make calling easier and quicker.
• Set up a bespoke website to make the enrolling process as smooth as possible.
