WORKPLACE SAVINGS RECEIVES OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD

Workplace Savings has received an Outstanding Service award from Investor in Customers (IIC).

The IIC model assesses customer centricity within a business and has been developed following extensive analysis of published research studies from leading economists and business leaders.

IIC conducted anonymous independent assessments aimed at four key criteria:

• Understanding market needs
• Meeting market needs (what we do for customers)
• Delighting customers (how we do it)
• Creation of loyalty

190 schemes, together with 7,000 scheme employees were invited to participate in the IIC survey, along with 100 Legal & General customer facing staff.

Scores were combined against each of these criteria and the Workplace Savings score achieved the ‘outstanding’ qualification.

Ian Mahoney, Director of Operations for Workplace Savings at Legal & General commented:

“This is the first time that Workplace Savings have participated in the IIC survey. It provides a significant benchmark in our quest to ensure that our customers are constantly at the centre of everything we do as an organisation. I am delighted that Workplace Savings have received the Outstanding Service award; it is an indication that we are ‘doing the right things’. This survey allows us to build upon successes to date, as well as focus on areas for future improvement and innovation.”
