MARCH 2012 ISSUE
Fixed Protection reminder
From 6 April 2012, the Lifetime Allowance, which is currently £1.8m, will reduce to £1.5m. The 5 April deadline to register for Fixed Protection, and retain a Lifetime Allowance of £1.8m, is fast approaching.
Protected Rights Changes
From 6 April 2012, it will be possible for you to transfer your Protected Rights benefits that have been accrued from periods of contracting out, into a SSAS.

VAT CHANGES
From 1 April 2012, it will be compulsory for all VAT registered entities to file VAT returns online and make electronic payment of any VAT due, as has been the case for those with a turnover above £100,000 since 1 April 2010.
