How can I reduce my absence cost?
From our experience, the length of time off work has been as much as 41% shorter, when we’re told about absences before week six instead of after 26 weeks. The sooner we know, the sooner we can facilitate appropriate rehabilitation and improve the employee’s chances of going back to work.
We’ve gone one step further with our early notification bonus, which is part of our Workplace Recovery Group Income proposition. The bonus pays back 5% of premiums when we're told of at least 80% of all long-term absences (those over four weeks) by the sixth week of absence.

I want a member's declaration form.
When we need to underwrite, we make it quick and easy by offering convenient tele-interviews or an interactive member’s declaration form.
Tele-interview
Members can take advantage of our tele-interview service where a qualified nurse will call at a time convenient to the member to help fill in the member’s declaration form over the phone. The nurse will fill in the form and send it to the member to sign before returning to us.

Group life assurance and dependants' pensions
Group Life Assurance provides a benefit if a member dies during service. A tax free lump sum and/or a taxed pension to the members’ chosen dependants.
Group income protection
Workplace Recovery is our Group Income Protection (GIP) proposition. It can provide early intervention, rehabilitation where necessary, plus a monthly income, for members who are absent from work because of long term illness or injury.
