Video Transcript: Retirement planner

Screen 1:

Screen 3:  

A woman wearing a green hoodie, walking while looking at her phone and seems to be texting. Text reads 'our Guided Retirement Planner'.  

Screen 4:  

While the video of the screen focuses on the mobile phone and a hand holding it, text reads ‘supports you every step of the way’  

Screen 5:  

A mother smiling and walking along a housing estate with a toddler on her shoulders, text reads ‘whether you’re just starting out’ 

Screen 6:

Screen 7:  

Image of a mobile phone appears on the left-hand side of the screen and moves on to different images from the initial image being a text on screen, then the image scrolls down to a video. Text on screen reading 'personalised for you, simple to use.'  

Screen 8:  

Image of the mobile phone is now on the right-hand side of the screen and shows a create your retirement savings plan content. Then it scrolls down to a graph with target income levels, and the top level of the graph highlights in colour red to draw attention.  

Text on screen reading ‘With helpful guidance like how much you should be saving for the retirement you’d like?’  

Screen 9:  

Image of the mobile app on the right hand-side of the screen stays but the content of the mobile screen scrolls to another part showing that further action is required to reach goals. Then it scrolls to a contribution amount being shown and the video shows amount of money being added to the calculator, then the calculator moves back to the graph showing the change in monetary contribution made a difference and the previously red section of the graph is now blue indicating the target is being met.  

 The text on screen reads ‘To help you see if you’re on track and if not, how you could make up a shortfall?’ 

Screen 10:  

Image of the mobile app appears on the left hand-side of the screen this time, showing support available to users to build a plan. Then the video scrolls to a Virtual Assistant chat being opened, as the chat is being typed the video changes to a message about almost being ready. Images of the app moves to retirement options and back to the initial screen of starting.  

The text on screen reads ‘Offering real-time help and regular check-ins we’ll help you build your understanding and make choices confidently. 

Screen 11:  

Image of the mobile app remains on left hand side and the content shows what the L&G pension pot assumption could be when the user reaches retirement age, then scrolls to another graph where the arrow shows the performance of the assumption.  

Text on screen reads ‘Guiding you through years of saving to retirement.’ 

Screen 12:  

A video of a family, a woman and a man walking along a green field with a child each on their back and talking to each other.  

The text on the screen reads ‘Helping you take control of your future’ with a green background on the bottom of the screen.  

Screen 13:  

A video of an older couple hiking is shown, while the green banner has moved to the top of the screen with the text reading ‘and have the money you need in retirement’  

Screen 14:  

Blue banner comes up on top left hand corner of the screen with a text 'Log into your online account or download our app' with App Store and Google Play images just underneath.  

There is also images of a laptop and a mobile app on the bottom right hand side of the screen each showing images from the guided planner.  

Screen 15:

L&G umbrella opens to close the video.
