About your new plan
The Trustees have asked us, Legal & General, to take over responsibility for the administration of the Kimberly-Clark Pension Scheme Defined Contribution (DC) Section. As part of the transfer from your previous administrator, the money held on your behalf has been transferred into the L&G plan. This amount is known as your transfer payment.
Your benefits will remain for you in the DC Section until you either decide to take them or transfer your pension account to another registered pension scheme. If you die before you take your benefits, the Trustee will decide who should receive the money in your pension account. If you have a spouse or civil partner, they will receive an annuity if you have RST (Reference Scheme Test) benefits. Any excess (or the full amount, if you don’t have a spouse) will be paid as a lump sum.
To help you understand how your pension plan works, take a look at the Member booklet.
Are there any charges for your new plan?
There are some charges that you pay for your pension plan - the annual management charge (AMC) that covers the cost of administration of your pension and the fund management charge (FMC) covering the investment management costs of the funds in which you are currently invested.
The AMC charge for Kimberly-Clark Pension Scheme Defined Contribution (DC) Section is 0.04%.
Although the Trustees have decided to invest your pension pot into this plan it may not be right for everyone. If it isn’t the right thing for you, you can transfer your money out of the plan to another registered pension scheme.
