Choose how your money is invested
This page shows the funds available to you. You can choose to invest your pension savings in any of the funds listed in the Investment funds available table below.
If you’re invested in the default investment option, your pension savings will be placed into one of the Pathways depending on the value of your pension pot and how close you are to retirement.

Investment funds available
Here is the full self-select fund range.
Pathways available
The following Pathways are available:
JLP Cash Pathway
The underlying funds within the JLP Cash Pathway (not available for self-selecting):
JLP Flexible Income Pathway
The underlying funds within the JLP Flexible Income Pathway (not available for self-selecting):
- JLP Growth Fund (BNB3)
- JLP Approaching Retirement Fund (BNC3)
- JLP Flexible Income in Retirement Fund (BNF3)
To find out more about each Pathway, click on the links above. You’ll see fact sheets that describe whether the Pathway is designed for those who want to take their pension savings in one of the following ways at retirement:
- Cash or use it to provide a guaranteed income (known as an annuity)
- A flexible income (referred to as flexi-access drawdown or income drawdown).
You’ll also see information about the funds each Pathway invests in and their advantages and disadvantages.
Both Pathways are designed to give your pension savings the opportunity to grow over the long term, and then gradually move into lower risk investments as you get closer to retirement. If you’re not sure which Pathway your pension pot is currently invested in, you can find this by going to your online account, using the L&G app or by looking at your latest annual pension statement.
Investment funds available
It’s important to think about what’s right for your own circumstances before making any decisions. The table shows the funds available to you. You can choose to invest your pension savings in any of the funds listed below.
Fund specific risks
In the table of funds, there are one or more numbers listed against each fund. Each number relates to a risk associated with that fund, and there is a description of these further down the page.
Charges
Each fund has a fund management charge (FMC), which is made up of the investment management charge (IMC) plus additional expenses (AE). Please note, AE can vary throughout the year.
Each fund has a risk rating from one to seven based on how much its value has moved over the past few years.
- 1 = Very low risk (more stable, fewer big changes)
- 7 = Very high risk (more ups and downs, with greater potential for gains and losses)
These ratings are based on up to 5 years of past performance. They are a useful way to compare funds, but they don’t guarantee how a fund will perform in the future.
To find out more about each fund (including performance, risks and charges) click on the fund name. You can also click on each column header to help you group investment funds together e.g. by ABI sector.
Please note the data in this table was last updated on 01 July 2026
Before making any investment decisions, it’s important to understand the risks. Our guide to risk and reward can help to explain things further.
If you’d like to make your own investment choices, but feel unsure, we recommend speaking to a financial adviser. You can find one through MoneyHelper. Just keep in mind that advisers usually charge for their services.
