You must read the
Stakeholder key features (PDF: 1186KB) and documents before you apply for your Stakeholder pension.
You can print them and keep for future reference. If there are any aspects of these documents that you don't understand, please speak to your financial adviser, or contact us.
We also recommend that you read the Money Advice Service's website for further information on Stakeholder pensions.
This online application should take 10-15 minutes to complete.
To apply online you'll need:
Please note that this application is only for investing new contributions into a plan. If you want to transfer money from a pension plan with another provider, please telephone 03459 932584. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Call charges will vary. We may record and monitor calls.
After we've accepted your application, we'll send you a notice of your right to cancel. We then give you 30 days, from the date you receive the notice, to change your mind about starting the plan. If there has been a fall in the investment value of the contract during the period prior to receipt of your instructions, the refund may reflect this.
If you don't take this opportunity to cancel, but decide you want to do so at a later stage, you can't get any money back until you take your benefits, which is normally from age 55 onwards.
On this website, we're not seeking to give you advice. It's up to you to decide if this Stakeholder pension is suitable for you. If you're unsure, please contact us for further information. Please note we can only give information about Legal & General products and services.
