Our process and how to get a quote

    Care fees questionnaire

    Complete this form with your client and their Power of Attorney if they have one.

    Then send the Care Fees Plan Questionnaire form, along with any Power of Attorney documentation to us. You can send the documents by either emailing them to lcp@landg.com or post to Legal & General Retirement, PO Box 809, Cardiff, CF24 0YL.

    Care Home Report

    Once we receive the Care Fees Plan Questionnaire we will make contact with the care home to arrange for a Care Home Report to be completed.

    GP report

    We'll normally be able to give you a price without needing a GP report because we expect the Care Home report to give us everything we need. This should allow us to get our quote to you quickly.

    We only request a GP report if necessary where we need more information, or if your client is not yet in a residential care setting.

    Quote pack issued

    Our underwriting team assess the medical information and provide our operational team with the decision. We'll use this to produce a quote which we’ll send to you along with a quote pack containing our key features, acceptance document, terms and conditions and care provider declaration.
