Chris joined Legal & General Home Finance in 2018, having previously spent two years at Royal London promoting their trading platform Ascentric to financial advisers.
Before his time at Royal London, Chris worked for Legal & General for over 20 years. During this time he worked in various customer facing roles, including line management and operations, as well as a Business Development Manager in our Pension and Investment business.

Amanda joined Legal & General Home Finance in 2020, bringing with her over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry. She started her career in 1987 at NPI, a small pensions company. Once NPI expanded into equity release in 1995, Amanda quickly progressed from a telephone adviser, to a field adviser covering the Midlands all the way to the tip of Scotland. The company became known as In Retirement Services.
In 2005, Amanda joined Aegon as a Telephone Account Manager, advising on their pensions and investments and eventually their guaranteed income products. Amanda returned to equity release in 2014 when she joined More2life. By 2016, Amanda was the organisation’s sole Business Development Manager covering the whole of the UK.
Amanda now plays a key part within our specialist channel, working closely with our top accounts to help them grow their business through our range of later life mortgages.
Amanda won “BDM of the Year” in both the Financial Reporter Awards and the Equity Release Awards in 2018.

David started as Distribution Director for Legal & General Home Finance in January 2023. Prior to his new position he’d spent the past seven years as Sales Director within Legal & General's Retail Protection business. He was responsible for looking after the protection sales delivery for our intermediaries through its Regional Business Development teams and playing an integral role in transforming the intermediary distribution team.
David joined Legal & General in 1987 as a Life Inspector in Guildford. With more than 40 years of experience in financial services, he’s worked in sales management across the UK.
Having managed all sectors of Legal & General’s intermediary business, both at a regional and national level, including appointed representatives, direct sales and advisers across the mortgage, wealth and traditional IFA markets. He is well-suited to support Partners in realising opportunities to drive growth of later life lending solutions to become an integral part of the advice offered by them .

Nick joined Legal & General in 2012, he works with existing and new strategic partners to development retirement lending distribution and advice opportunities and to help those businesses broaden their customer propositions.
He has worked in both the adviser and provider sides of the industry since 1994 he has a deep understanding of both retirement mortgage and wealth management customers having led national advice distribution networks at both Legal & General and Aviva.
In addition to significant intermediary sector and direct to consumer experience, Nick has worked closely with bank and building society partners, securing Legal & General Home Finance's partnership deals with NatWest, Santander, Virgin Money, the Co-operative Bank and understands the challenges of meeting customer needs across all sectors.

Marie has over 20 years’ experience within the financial services industry. She began in mortgage adviser training and development at the West Bromwich Building Society. She then moved to Legal & General, where she has worked across our insurance divisions and for the Mortgage Club for many years, working with specialist broker firms, lenders and regulatory bodies.
Marie now works in partnership with our strategic partners and mortgage club distributors to continuously improve the Legal & General Home Finance later life proposition for their adviser firms and members. Creating and collaborating with cross industry working groups in order to continuously explore solutions to future customer needs.
Marie won Mortgage Introducers "Elite Woman Award" in 2022 and also won “Woman in Later Life Lending” in Financial Reporter’s Women’s Recognition Award in 2019.

Darren has over 30 years’ public and private sector experience, having worked in banking, lending, property and business development. His career has seen him cover the entire product lifecycle from theory to execution and ultimately wind down.
