L&G Mortgage Club Awards 2026

Our 2026 Voting Surveys are now live. The deadline to submit your votes is 5.00pm on Friday 27th February. 

Voting Rules 

1. Lenders & brokers are permitted to vote as individuals, not as a firm (i.e. multiple employees in a lender or broker firm can each vote separately). 
2. Only lenders can vote for brokers, and vice-versa. Any votes received from any other individuals or firms (e.g. friends, family, customers, surveyors, introducers, protection providers) will be discounted. 
3. To vote, you must state your name, your company and your work email address. 
4. L&G Mortgage Club will only accept the FIRST vote a lender or broker submits as an individual. If they submit a 2nd vote as an individual, then it will be discounted. 
5. Lenders must vote for brokers using a work-based email address for their firm only. Any votes submitted by lenders using a personal email address will be discounted. 
6. If L&G Mortgage Club identifies any instances of lenders or brokers trying to vote for themselves in these surveys, then these votes will be discounted. 
7. The Mortgage Club reserves the right to discount any votes from firms / individuals where we believe tactical behaviour is being deployed to affect the outcome, or any undue or excessive influence is being exerted by lender or broker firms to affect the outcome. 

Additional Categories to Enter 

There are 2 submission-based categories for this year’s awards for which you can now enter: 

The Diversity & Inclusion Champion Award – Open to Brokers & Lenders  

This award is open to both broker and lender firms. The award will be given to an individual who is making a positive impact within the D&I space, helping to strengthen their company’s diverse, equitable and inclusive culture.  

So, if you have an individual in your firm who is excelling in the D&I space, please do consider putting them forward for this award. 

The Rising Star in the Industry Award – Open to Brokers Only 

This award is exclusively for brokers. Does your broker firm have a shining star amongst its ranks – an individual with up to three years' total experience in the intermediated mortgage market as of December 2025? An individual who has made exceptional progress across the last 12 months, demonstrating first class results, attitude, and ambition? If so, then why not put their name forward for this prestigious award.

The deadline to enter both categories is 5.00pm on Friday 10th April.  

Finalist Announcement 

As in previous years, the finalists for each category will be unveiled via a video announcement on the Mortgage Solutions website. This year’s finalists will be announced on Friday 20th March. 

All the finalists across both the broker and lender categories will then be invited to provide a more detailed submission on why they believe they should win the award. Specific guidance for the submissions will be provided to the finalists by email following the announcement. The deadline for submissions to be received is Friday 10th April.   

Judging  

All finalist submissions will be judged by panels made up of representatives from the L&G Mortgage Club alongside industry experts and peers. We will invite representatives from Lender firms to judge the broker awards, and vice-versa. The judging will take place across the week commending Monday 27th April.  

Winners Announcement 

The winners will be announced live at our 2026 awards ceremony, which will take place on Friday 5th June at The Guildhall, London.
